The Parish Council currently operates two sites in East Boldre with 55 allotments varying from whole plots down to eighth plots. The site is rented from the Forestry Commission and is primarily for the benefit of the residents of East Boldre although a number of the current plot holders come from neighbouring villages.
We have a very active Allotments Association of which Bruce McDermott is treasurer and his wife Ruth McDermott is secretary and they can be contacted by phone on 01590 612231.
The annual allotment rent includes membership to the National Allotments Society and insurance. Water can be obtained at a small extra cost. The council holds allotment inspections regularly to ensure a high standard of plots. If you are interested in taking on a plot please contact the parish clerk.
